DESCRIPTION:MACC Finance Committee Meeting will be held  Saturday\, May 9\, at 10:00 AM Central Time. \nOur primary objective for this meeting is to continue working through several important financial and administrative initiatives to ensure MACC’s records and banking relationships are current and properly documented. \nItems we expect to discuss include: \n\n🏦 Progress on adding Treasurer Scott to the MACC Bank account and reviewing the documentation required by the bank\n📋 Verification of meeting minutes and governing documents needed to support banking updates\n📁 Review and organization of files transferred from Ray’s flash drive into the shared Google Drive repository\n🏛️ Discussion of MACC’s legal and incorporation status under the Illinois General Not For Profit Corporation Act\n🧾 Research and verification of MACC’s Employer Identification Number (EIN)\n💳 Planning for future online payment capabilities\, including prerequisites for services such as Stripe\n✅ Identification of follow-up tasks and assignment of responsibilities before our next committee meeting\n\nThis meeting is an important step toward improving MACC’s financial operations\, document management\, and long-term organizational readiness. \nThank you for your continued participation and support. DESCRIPTION:🖤 International Mr. Leather (IML) 2026 \n📅 Dates: May 21–25\, 2026   \n📍 Location: Congress Plaza Hotel\, Chicago\, Illinois   \nWhat Is International Mr. Leather? \nInternational Mr. Leather is a yearly gathering and competition that celebrates leather\, kink\, fetish\, and BDSM communities. It began in 1979 and has grown into one of the largest leather-subculture events in the world.   \nParticipants from all over the world come to compete for the IML title. Alongside the main contest\, starting in 2026 the weekend will once again include International Mr. Bootblack (IMBB) — highlighting bootblacking artistry as part of the IML weekend.   \nWhat Happens at IML 2026 \n\nA full weekend of leather- and fetish-community events\, including the bootblack competition\, themed social nights\, circuit parties\, and the leather market/expo.  \nEducational and community-building aspects: IML often offers panels\, social meetups\, and opportunities for people to connect across the leather/kink/fetish community.  \nVendor Market & Leather Expo: a chance to browse gear\, leather/fetish wear\, and products from vendors around the world.  \nNightlife\, events\, and social gatherings — from themed parties to community-driven socials\, offering a mix of celebration\, connection\, and leather culture.  \n\n  \nWhy IML Matters \nIML is more than a contest — it’s a cornerstone event for the leather community worldwide. It’s a place where people come together to celebrate identity\, culture\, and community\, to support each other\, and to preserve leather and fetish heritage. With the return of the Bootblack competition in 2026\, IML also continues its tradition of honoring all aspects of the leather lifestyle.
