MACC Finance Committee Meeting

MACC Finance Committee Meeting will be held  Saturday, May 9, at 10:00 AM Central Time.

Our primary objective for this meeting is to continue working through several important financial and administrative initiatives to ensure MACC’s records and banking relationships are current and properly documented.

Items we expect to discuss include:

• 🏦 Progress on adding Treasurer Scott to the MACC Bank account and reviewing the documentation required by the bank
• 📋 Verification of meeting minutes and governing documents needed to support banking updates
• 📁 Review and organization of files transferred from Ray’s flash drive into the shared Google Drive repository
• 🏛️ Discussion of MACC’s legal and incorporation status under the Illinois General Not For Profit Corporation Act
• 🧾 Research and verification of MACC’s Employer Identification Number (EIN)
• 💳 Planning for future online payment capabilities, including prerequisites for services such as Stripe
• ✅ Identification of follow-up tasks and assignment of responsibilities before our next committee meeting

This meeting is an important step toward improving MACC’s financial operations, document management, and long-term organizational readiness.
