Iowa Leather Weekend 2027 — Wild West

Dust off your boots, grab your gear, and saddle up! Iowa Leather Weekend returns August 27–29, 2027, for a Wild West adventure in Des Moines, Iowa.

Since 1988, Iowa Leather Weekend has grown into an annual celebration of Iowa’s leather, bear, pet, fetish, and kink communities. Whether you’re a longtime leatherfolk, proud pup, bear, gear enthusiast, curious newcomer, or supportive friend, there’s a place for you around the ILW campfire.

The weekend is expected to feature title contests, educational classes, demonstrations, social gatherings, vendors, parties, games, and plenty of opportunities to make new friends and lasting memories. Contestants will compete for the Iowa Leather, Iowa Bear, and Iowa Pet titles and the opportunity to represent Iowa at national events.
