MACC Finance Committee Meeting

Hello Finance Committee Members,

This is a friendly reminder that the MACC Finance Committee Meeting will be held on  Saturday, July 11, at 10:00 AM Central Time via Zoom.

As we continue strengthening MACC’s financial and organizational foundation, this meeting will focus on reviewing progress made since our last session and discussing recommendations for future action. Planned discussion topics include:

  • 🏦 Updates on the Bank account transition and account access
  • 🧾 Review of MACC’s EIN and federal tax-exempt status, including any research completed since our last meeting
  • 📜 Progress locating and organizing the Articles of Incorporation and other key historical documents
  • 📋 Review of proposed updates to the Constitution, Bylaws, and Standing Rules of Order
  • 💳 Exploration of electronic payment options for membership dues and other transactions
  • 📊 Discussion of MACC’s financial sustainability, including operating costs, patch pricing, and long-term planning
  • 📁 Continued organization of financial and historical records in Google Drive
  • ✅ Review of outstanding action items and development of recommendations for the Executive Board and member clubs
